Editorial policy
Bright Beauty Journal aims to make beauty coverage clear, fair and worth a reader's time. We distinguish description from evaluation, explain the basis for comparisons and correct errors when we identify them.
Accuracy and limits
We check names, wording and factual details against suitable source material when preparing coverage. Product claims are presented as claims unless the available material supports a stronger statement. We avoid turning a general explanation into a promise about what any individual will experience, and we say when a subject needs expertise beyond our scope.
Independence
Editorial choices are made for relevance to readers, not to secure favourable treatment for a product or partner. A commercial relationship does not buy an editorial verdict. Where a piece includes a relevant connection that could affect how readers understand it, that connection is disclosed in clear language.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error or unclear claim, contact us through the Contact page and identify the piece and passage. We review correction requests, amend confirmed errors and make significant changes visible in the article where appropriate. Disagreement about an opinion is not, by itself, a factual correction.
Partners and illustrations
Paid or partner material is labelled plainly so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage. Some illustrations are AI-generated; when an illustration is AI-generated, it is identified as such. Illustrations are not presented as documentary photographs of real events or people.
A promise is only the beginning.
We look at the wording, format and assumptions behind beauty choices, so readers can decide what deserves their attention.
